Privacy policy
I run a private tool that posts to my Threads account, shows me how the posts did, and reads the replies. I am its only user. This page says what it keeps.
What it reads
For each reply to my Threads posts: the text, your handle, its link, when you posted it, its Threads ID, what kind of post it is, which post it answers, whether I wrote it and whether it is hidden. It never reads pictures or videos.
It also reads the totals for my own posts and account, such as views, likes and followers. Totals name no one.
Why
So I can read replies and answer them, and see how my posts did. I write or approve every answer myself before it is posted.
Who sees my copies
Only me. The tool runs on my own server. An AI model on that server may read a reply to draft my answer. Replies are not sent to outside AI services. I do not share or sell them.
How long I keep replies
The tool deletes a reply 30 days after it first reads it. If it sees the reply deleted or hidden on Threads in the week after my post, it deletes the text, your handle and the link at once. The rest, such as the reply's Threads ID and when it was posted, stays until the 30 days are up.
How to have a reply deleted
Write to privacy@louisgarcia.com with your handle or a link to the reply. I will delete my copies and write back.
If any of this changes, this page changes first. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its host keeps ordinary access logs.
